The Clerk of Circuit Court is the Marriage License
issuing agent for the State. We have provided the most important
information as it pertains to obtaining a Marriage License through the
Union County Clerk of Circuit Court.
When applying for a marriage license both applicants must
be present to complete your application. Each person will need to
provide the following information:
Photo ID (i.e. Drivers License, Passport, etc.)
Social Security Number
Place of Birth
Applicants with children in common must provide for

Applicants who have been previously married must
A 3 Day waiting period will apply to all applications
when a premarital course has not been taken. The waiting period does not
apply when both parties are Non-Florida residents.

We are unable to issue marriage licenses to any
individual unable to personally appear in the Clerk’s office, per
Florida Statute 741.03.

Effective October 1, 2014, the Union County Clerk of
Circuit Court no longer performs wedding ceremonies.
